Combine all of the ingredients except the pork and water in a bowl.
Place the pork in a slow cooker and pour about ⅓ of mixture over top. Use a spatula or brush to ensure it is fully coated. Flip the pork over and pour the remaining mixture over top. Again brush to ensure it is fully coated. Pour ¾ cup of water around the edge of the pork.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours. Shred with a fork and allow to cook for 10-15 additional minutes to soak up the juices.
