Pizza Bowls

Satisfy your next pizza craving with these delicious pizza bowls. Made with simple ingredients, this easy dinner is the perfect recipe to make when you're looking for the flavors of pizza but also want a quick and wholesome dinner. – 3 cups cooked grains such as quinoa or farro (1 cup uncooked) – 1 cup Pizza Sauce – 1 lb spicy Italian sausage cooked and sliced into thin rounds, about 2 and ½ cups – ½ green pepper sliced thinly, about ½ cup – ¼ red onion sliced thinly, about ½ cup – ½ cup cherry tomatoes cut into quarters – 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded

Grains- Cook according to package directions and then mix with ¼ cup of pizza sauce. – Cheese- Shred. – Vegetables- Cut into small pieces. – Meat- Cook completely and cut into bite sized pieces.

In each of four 12 oz oven safe ramekins (or similar small oven-safe bowls), layering all the ingredients

Place the ramekins on a large baking sheet (to catch any cheese that might bubble over) and place in the oven. Bake at 425F for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

Garnish with fresh basil and diced tomatoes as desired. Be careful- the edges of the ramekin will be hot! Place the ramekins on a potholder and be sure not to touch the edges while eating.
